I do not usually go out of my way to photograph homeless people. Not unless I ask them for permission or even just acknowledge their existence. The City Of Melbourne is does have a massive homeless problem and more needs to be done to help these people who are at the lowest point of their lives. As stated, I do not usually seek these people out for a photo opportunity, but to see him lying there with everything he owns and his one special balloon, broke my heart.
